You will have the opportunity to monitor and manage production flow and the inventory control of raw materials and finished goods.
You will oversee a variety of inventory control production/scheduling activities including forecasting material based on sales and manufacturing demands, inventory turn, supply chain flow, cycle counts, waste reduction, month end inventory, inventory accuracy, reporting, inventory strategy for fulfillment, and much, much more.
You will play a key role in creating fresh policies and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
Coordinates availability of raw materials with multiple departments, ensures inventory of raw materials in MRP system is accurate, purchases and forecasts raw materials, creates and maintains purchase orders, responds to supply requirements in MRP, maintains adequate quantities of inventory to avoid overstock without excess inventory cost, establishes and maintains correct min/max levels, reorder levels and order quantities, continually researches new materials for better pricing and quality, works closely with production and engineering to maintain levels of quality and on hand inventory, manages special projects related to inventory control, leads efforts to fix and maintain material flow issues, monitors and verifies the quality and specifications of incoming raw materials and WIP goods, identifies and evaluates new suppliers as appropriate, maintains appropriate databases of suppliers and pricing information, reconciles and approves invoices from suppliers and processing payments.

Education:


Bachelors degree with preferred major in Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent job experience

Strong analytical, purchasing and problem-solving skills
